The money you are entitled to will be based on your individual circumstances. This will depend on whether you are on benefits, at work, in further education or any combination of these.
You may be entitled to additional money if you have a disability or long-term health condition that affects your everyday life.
We are committed to ensuring all care leavers get the money they are entitled to. To be sure you are getting the right money we can check this by doing a benefits check. To get a benefits check you can speak to any worker to request this and they should be able to support you or you can contact the Tackling Poverty Team by phone or email:
