ProjectChange is collaborating with the Young Women’s Movement to host an art event in Edinburgh at Grassmarket Community Hub on February 15th from 11am to 3pm. It’s all about bringing people together to explore how care experience and gender intersect. Through creativity, we’ll celebrate diversity, spark ideas, and build stronger, more inclusive communities.

What It’s All About:

·      Relationships: Building and supporting positive connections across care, gender, and communities.

·      Creativity: Using art to connect, inspire, and see things differently.

·      Collaboration: Celebrating, sharing, and working together.

·      Intersectionality: Exploring how care, gender, race, and other identities shape our experiences and relationships.

Why It Matters:

There’s been little focus on how care experience and gender overlap, especially in ways that bring communities together. This event fills that gap, helping us think about these connections and how art can foster stronger relationships. By understanding these intersections, we can build communities that truly celebrate and support everyone.
